The National
4-H Poultry and Egg Conference is held every year in
November in Louisville Kentucky, 4-H teams from states
across the country meet to test their knowledge of
poultry and eggs, preparation of eggs, and barbequing
skills of chicken and turkey. It's a great chance
to meet other students interested in poultry from your state as well as many other states from coast to coast.
Contestants are chosen from interested 4-H members who participate in the
State 4-H Poultry Judging Contest and Avian Bowl held
August 7 at the Ohio State Fairgrounds George V.
